Winter Park: 25 Years Down, Many More To Go
[Winter Park, Florida] – As the day began, CES Winter Park prepared for their 25th anniversary celebration and those who would be in attendance. The beautiful weather and sunny skies made for a fun-filled event.
Throughout the day, customers mingled with the staff and vendors to learn about products, promotions, and enter the giveaway for several prizes, including the grand prize of a $1,000 travel voucher.
The giveaways were made possible by the many vendors in attendance, including TAMCO, Klein Tools, CES Renewables, Legrand, and more.
“The best part of the event was the nice, cool weather and the great customer turnout,” said District Manager Jim Glass.
Glass has been a part of the branch since its early days in 2000. Now, as their district manager, he has watched them become one of the premier branches within the company.
“I am extremely proud to celebrate their 25th anniversary and see how far they have come,” said Glass.
Branch Manager Billy Reina joined CES in 1996 as a driver at the Altamonte Springs branch. In 2001 he left the company to expand his knowledge in the industry.
“I returned to CES in 2007 when I was hired to be the branch manager at CES Winter Park,” said Reina. “There have been many achievements during my time as branch manager, but my biggest by far has been making CES Winter Park the number one branch in Florida last year.”
Not only did the branch celebrate with their customers in a relaxed environment, but the store ran regular business throughout the entire event.
“The branch remained fully operational during peak hours and showed how extraordinary their customer service is,” said Glass. “They are in touch with our customers’ needs and continue to provide exceptional customer service. Billy and his team are a strong and successful team.”
When customers arrived at the event, the set-up was just like one large tradeshow, so they were able to start by signing up for raffle prizes, then connect with vendors, and finally enjoy a great meal from Uncle Tony’s BBQ food truck with delicious barbecue smoked on the smoker attached to the trailer.
“The customers left with full bellies and smiles on their faces — we got lots of positive feedback,” said Glass.
Glass couldn’t see the event running any smoother, and he appreciated the support from customers.
“The event flowed very well. It was exciting being able to greet and visit with many customers whose ongoing loyal support has made the branch what it is today,” said Glass.
The celebration was enjoyed, and the hard work put in by the branch was praised by Regional Manager Mark Mickley.
“This branch has come a long way, and it makes me really proud to see how their hard work and efforts show daily,” said Mickley.
As the event came to an end, Co-Chief Operating Officer Andrew Dawes showed his appreciation to the branch for the team’s hard work.
“The success the Winter Park branch has seen is because of their strong team and outstanding customers,” said Dawes.
