CES Sponsors the EURO Auto Festival on the East Coast
Hundreds of spectators, car lovers, and European car enthusiasts were left amazed at the jaw-dropping cars that came from all over the country in October.
Approximately 400 European cars gathered for the 21st annual EURO Auto Festival – the largest all-European auto show on the East Coast. City Electric Supply in Spartanburg, S.C. and CES Greenville sponsored the event for the second year.
“We set up a vendor area along with Milwaukee Tools. It was a partnership between our Spartanburg, Greenville branches and Milwaukee,” Rob Brooks, CES Spartanburg Branch Manager, said.
The groups enjoyed telling spectators about their products who fielded much interest regarding vehicle-specific and commercial lighting.
The event was held at the Preserve at Verdae which provided a perfect green picturesque golf course backdrop for the cars. This year, the Euro Auto Festival paid homage to the British roadster.
Some of the British roadster models included XK, MG, TR, and BN, along with some of the world’s most celebrated car marques such as BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Jaguar, DeTomaso, and many more.
European motorcycles were also exhibited and Rob was excited to showcase his two-wheeled Ducati Superbike beauty for the second time, in this year’s motorcycle exhibition.
Television commentator and Sports Car Market magazine founder Keith Martin, made a guest appearance to the event, and even Michelin Man showed his CES support by standing over the sponsorship sign and giving his number one approval!
Security Concepts’ business owner and CES customer Mike Williams, entertained and blew eventgoers away with his World War II era PT-17 biplane that flew over the golf course.
Both CES Spartanburg and Greenville teams enjoyed the phenomenal car exhibition while they greeted spectators and introduced them to CES.
“It’s an exciting event that we are proud of sponsoring. This will definitely be something we look forward to in the coming years,” Rob added.
The show supported the Ronald McDonald Charities of the Carolinas. A big thanks goes to Milwaukee Tools, Branch Managers Rob Brooks and Chris Nichols, and their awesome teams for making this event another great success for its second year!
