‘Tis The Season

Reading Time: 2 minutes

This Mackie Monday I would like to take the opportunity to give you a brief update on the recent busy conference season.  Since May we held our US Senior Management Leadership Summit, CEF held their Bi-Annual Conference and we started major planning for the 2018 North American Managers Conference.

Our Senior Leadership Summit was held in Palm Beach, Florida we brought in our senior leadership team (SGMs and above) for a two-day conference. Thursday, we took a 45-minute trip north to Port Saint Lucie, FL to see that Tamco factories. Frank and the Tamco team were fantastic hosts and it was great to see that part of the business grow…and growing they are with new injection molding machines in Centaur and a brand-new turret press in the back of the fluorescents factory. It is always nice to see some familiar faces around the factories and it was great to meet some of the new ones. Our Friday session had us divide into small groups in which we discussed five different topics and new incentives. The five breakout sessions were focused on a CES S.W.O.T analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats), Core, Medical Benefits, Orientation and 2018 NAMC, and CES Online. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our Senior Leadership Team for their time and the feedback provided in these sessions, I look forward to discussing more over the upcoming months.

Over the next week will be sending out or first major announcement for the 2018 NAMC that will be held in Dallas, TX and we plan on switching things up a little for this conference. In the past, we have invited branch managers and they have provided us with some incredible feedback. In an effort to showcase the conference to even more of our team members we will be inviting both Stores Managers and Sales Reps for the first time ever and increasing our attendance by 30%. We are incredibly excited to keep expanding this initiative and look forward to welcoming back the Branch Managers in 2020.

As you can see it has been a productive month and I’m excited to be back home in Dallas just in time to welcome the next group of orientation attendees arriving this evening.
