Riverside Intermediate fifth graders spearhead project to improve enclosure for school’s goats

About 50 fifth graders, led by their teachers Heather Asher and Marc Dashiell, have been working on improvements to the goat enclosure for the last few months.

It started as persuasive writing lessons and morphed into a hands-on project combining the humanities, taught by Asher, and STEM, or science, technology, engineering and math, which Dashiell teaches. Read more…
