Meet CES Land O’ Lakes Van Driver Carlos Feliciano. Nicknamed “Pops,” his manager Jim Dahmer said he does an outstanding job as the face of the branch and named him employee of the month for two months in a row. His commitment and work ethic are what makes CES a great company!
For the month of October, we had a chat with Carlos for his outstanding customer service and enthusiastic attitude. It is our pleasure to highlight Carlos and everything he does to make CES outstanding.
CES: How long have you worked with CES?
Carlos: I have been here for 13 years.
CES: What is your position now and where did you start in the company?
Carlos: I started working in the warehouse and answering the phone. I have been driving for about 10 years. Ninety percent of my job is driving, but I still help out in the warehouse and on the phone.
CES: What’s been your biggest accomplishment/most proud moment while at CES?
Carlos: I have only missed four days of work, and that was because I was in the hospital. I am here every single day. I am a very responsible person and know they need me here.
CES: What’s your favorite thing about working for this company?
Carlos: I am proud of the company I work for. I moved here from New York to work at CES with my son. I love that three of my children worked here and one still does. I love this company and I love my job.
CES: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Carlos: This is where I want to finish my career, I hope I will still be driving for CES.
CES: What is one unique thing you do at work every day?
Carlos: Everyone calls me Pops. I don’t like being stuck inside, it’s great to get out and meet all of our customers. I enjoy talking to them and get along with everyone.
Branch manager Jim Dahmer said ” Mr. Feliciano is the face of the branch. He drives a bill board eight hours a day, has face to face meetings with customers during deliveries, and does it all with a smile on his face. ”
