North American Managers Conference

With over 700 branch managers and senior management from the U.S. and Canada in attendance, City Electric Supply and Torbram Electric Supply held the first North American Mangers Conference during the weekend of September 12.

The dynamic and successful event, which was held at The Omni Hotel in Downtown Dallas, featured the ‘One’ logo and theme representing a united movement as ONE company and ONE family.

An overview of the weekend included many upcoming company innovations. City Electrical Factors announced their new Business-to-Business (B2B) endeavor with online purchasing beginning in September. CES proudly announced we would be venturing down the same road in the coming year.

Additionally, all branches will be outfitted with Wi-Fi capabilities as well as iPads equipped with the new IMS app for the sales team. New employee training from driver to branch manager will be offered in the form of CES University in conjunction with the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED). Rounding out the weekend, heavy emphasis was placed on marketing efforts including the brand new CES website and branch uniforms.
