City Electric Supply Tomball, Texas will provide the LED lighting to be installed along Sandy Reed Memorial Trail, bridges, and architecturally iconic features. The artistic lighting design will transition from white to blue and back to white as the moon waxes, wanes, and waxes again.

Branch Manager Ryan Westbrook spent two months in bidding phase 12 of this 19-phase, $58 million project.  With help from Electrical Contractor Daniel Baez of Baez Electric, Westbrook identified the specialty fixtures specified for use in the previous 11 phases of this project.

This knowledge, however, presented a new problem for Westbrook to overcome, as the local agent was not interested in supplying the product.

He started doing extensive research on the product, calling the manufacturer of each fixture, thoroughly reviewing the spec sheets, and reaching out to other CES locations.

Challenges remained in the form of exchange rates, international shipping, coordinating through time differences and more, but Westbrook found a partner in Perry. They worked diligently to make this order a reality.

Persistence pays off, sometimes in a big way! This is a job well done for the team effort and huge congratulations to all involved.
