Growing Gains for City Electric supply Oklahoma City Yukon

In January 2021, Branch Manager Sean Williams began the journey to open City Electric Supply Oklahoma City Yukon. Recently hired by Regional Manager Jacob Pitts, Williams was tasked with finding a location in the Oklahoma City area. But things took longer than expected.

“I was thinking we would have the branch up and going by April, maybe May,” Williams explained. “It was difficult to find something that had the space and height we were looking for. So, we decided to start from the ground up.”

By choosing to construct an entirely new building, Williams and his team could mold the new branch location to meet the requirements that they initially had in mind.

“We broke ground on the new building in August, and here we are,” said Williams.

Surrounded by a growing commercial, residential, and construction market, CES Oklahoma City Yukon wants to take part in expanding the community.

“It’s on the west side of the metro area, where the town is growing,” Williams added. “We are really in a prime location to capture some of that business.”

Industry Expertise

With Williams’ expertise, CES Oklahoma City Yukon plans to make its mark in the local industry.

“I’ve been in the business for almost 20 years,” Williams explained. “I’ve got my journeyman electrician license. It gives you a little street cred with your customers because it lets them know that you’ve done that kind of work before.”

And the rest of the branch team brings their own set of skills and experience.

“Our outside salesman, Stephen Sharp, has been in the business for five years. He’s good with numbers and provides excellent customer service,” Williams added. “My operations manager, Evelina Calloway, keeps me on top of my tasks. And our counterperson, C.J. Enochs, has been with City Electric Supply for several years and has helped get our warehouse together.”

As a new addition to the area, CES Oklahoma City Yukon hopes to make a good impression.

“We want to let the community know that they can stop by, that we offer great customer service, and that we want to be an asset to the existing CES brand,” said Williams.

With what the team brings to the table, we’re sure that the Oklahoma City Yukon branch will be essential to the growth of the community and City Electric Supply.
