EPISODE 72 | Stocked at a Branch Near You
How does City Electric Supply (CES) support customers every step of the way? Whether it’s keeping projects on schedule or delivering supplies wherever and whenever they are needed, CES is committed to powering your success. With over 600 branches nationwide, CES provides the essential material to get the job done right and on time.
“They’re a one-stop shop and very well stocked,” said electrician John Burke. “I really appreciate all the help that they provide and how they support the community.”
“We use City Electric Supply exclusively. They’re so quick, and they get the supplies we need out the next day, if not the same day,” added electrician Bryson Bowen.
Strategic growth
With the support of strategically placed fulfillment centers in key regions, CES enables branches to fulfill orders quickly, ensuring our customers stay on schedule. This empowers our branches to deliver results efficiently, driving the success of every project.
“We have more stock here at CES Rome and other individual branches thanks to our network,” said District Manager Scott Rogers. “We can get products a lot faster to our customers.”
Current, new, and revamped branches across the country strive to support customers through our ever-growing branch network.
“Our growth is going to help serve our customers better. CES Orleans is about 20 minutes from the South Dennis location, another 20 minutes from the Hyannis location, and about an hour from Falmouth. Having more area coverage means having more inventory locally,” added District Manager Jeremy Higgins.
“If we don’t have the product here at the Rome branch, we can make a quick run-down to Cartersville or Calhoun and have the product back for them on the same day,” said Branch Manager David Combs.
“The customers are very happy with the addition of CES Billerica,” said District Manager Mike Sullivan. “They don’t have to travel an extra hour, making it quicker to get supplies.”
“I have gotten a few comments from customers telling me, ‘The Frederick CO location is only 10 minutes from where I live or on my way to work. I’ll stop by more.’ It’s more convenient filling in that void between Longmont, Broomfield, Brighton CO, and Greeley,” said Operations Manager Kyle McCully.
Industry-leading collaborations
As one of the top electrical distributors in the country, CES also works with some of the industry’s top vendors to provide customers access to high-quality material.
“I’ve been working with City Electric Supply for about three years now and we did the lighting in this new showroom for CES Rome in Georgia,” said Maddux Clancy, distributor and contractor salesperson of Lighting Associates, Inc. “This shows a lot of our new products, and the customers can come in and see what we’re selling and actually buy it straight off the shelf.”
“I’ve had the pleasure to go to a lot of different distributors. When I walked into this one, the first thing I noticed was the amount of space here,” added Milwaukee Tool Representative Paul Bain. “I think when people are comfortable and the space is comfortable, it creates a more conducive environment for people to be shopping and browsing.”
Strengthening local communities
These strong connections within the industry provide CES the opportunity to help leaders within local communities strengthen their economies.
“City Electric Supply is going to fulfill a great need in our community. We have 1,400 rooftops scheduled to be built in the next four years. We have 1,200 apartments that are getting ready for pre-leasing. Now, we have another 1,200-apartment complex getting ready for construction. With all these projects going on, we will need more electrical supplies,” said Scott Furgeson, Mayor of Shelbyville, Indiana.
With more projects underway and more supplies needed, local customers like Electrical Division Manager David Bucchi of Apollo Home know where to go to get what they need.
“If you want a fair business partner that services you well and makes sure you get everything you need so that you can be successful, CES is the way to go.”
