CES Valparaiso, IN: New Branch Opens in a Construction-Themed Business Park

[Valparaiso, Indiana] — Valparaiso, known to the locals as Valpo, Indiana, is a thriving community with lush parks, universities, and historic trails. It’s also home to the newest City Electric Supply branch, CES Valparaiso, one of three branches in the state of Indiana.

Branch Manager Frank Farkas has 32 years of experience in the electrical distribution industry and began his career with City Electric Supply in November. Farkas says his team brings a wide variety of talents to CES, including retrofitting, energy savings, and project and rebate management. His team consists of himself and three others: Operations Manager Jim Morange, Jonah Page in Outsides Sales, and Brandon Bonta in Counter Sales.

“I have had the pleasure of assembling an energetic young staff that is very eager to learn as they work in the industry and solidify their place in it. I am very excited to see the great things to come for this team!”

According to Farkas, it was crucial finding the right geographic location for the Valparaiso branch. With Valparaiso and its surrounding communities located in such a rapidly growing area, they find themselves directly in the path of contractors and other potential customers.

“This branch has a unique atmosphere in this industry,” Farkas said. “I like to think that the Valparaiso branch has the possibility to be the branch of opportunity. I hope that I produce many future branch managers and other folks for positions throughout our company! Great things happen to great people, and at the end of the day, this is a people business.”

Farkas believes the Valparaiso location will open their branch up to a diverse customer base and allow them to get involved with more than the traditional type of customer. Some of the surrounding businesses include a window distributor, an auto parts store, a plumbing supply house, and a motorcycle dealership.
