CES Panama City Beach: Everything’s Beachy for this Seaside Supplier

[Panama City Beach, Florida]: Panama City Beach, a waterfront town and popular vacation spot, is now home to the newest branch of City Electric Supply. CES looks forward to serving the growing, scenic area in a location just off the main highway.

Branch Manager Jack Basham predicts success and a steady flow of customers because of the amount of traffic the town receives.

“Just a mile away, we have a major shopping area called Pier Park that is full of shops, restaurants, and a 53-meter observation wheel with climate-controlled, enclosed gondolas,” said Basham.

Seven years ago, Basham began his journey with CES in warehouse and counter sales.

“I worked at the town store in Panama City for six years and then was promoted to Operations Manager for three months before I became Branch Manager of the Panama City Beach branch,” said Basham.

The new branch is equipped with a bright team of experts in load center manufacturing and data networking and installing. Each member pitched in to help make sure the location was perfect for its customers.

“We had to take walls down, replace the 10-foot roll-up bay door with a 12-foot door, put in a concrete ramp, and install lights,” said Basham. “We wanted the customers to be able to see all of the fixtures we have in the counter area, showroom, and warehouse so the products could sell themselves.

Basham is confident that the busy town will attract new customers, and he knows his team’s excellent customer service will bring them back.

“My team specializes in customer service, and we will make sure the customers’ needs are met by following up with them in a timely manner.”

At CES, there is always room for advancement, and that is one of the reasons why Basham has enjoyed his time with the company so much.

“I have grown so much within the company that it is crazy to think about where I started out and how far I have come,” said Basham.

Basham has poured his time and energy into opening the new branch, constantly strategizing and working to make it better.

“I practically live here. Even when I am not at work, I am working. Opening this store has been my biggest accomplishment since I started with CES,” stated Basham. “I couldn’t be prouder of how the store is shaping up.”

For Basham, his favorite part about working in the Panama City Beach location is his team that feels more like family.

“Before I transferred to the beach store, my nephew started with the Panama City branch and it felt even more like home. CES has been really good to me. We are all family.”
