City Electric Supply CES Cares program has teamed up with the international cloud-based software provider, Benevity, to make giving back easier for employees.  The company is a global leader in corporate responsibility software that powers giving, volunteering, community investment and other positive actions.

“Benevity is on a mission to democratize corporate giving in a way that empowers employees, customers and communities to support the causes they care about most,” said Trey Yost, SVP Sales at Benevity. “This is precisely why City Electric Supply is such a great fit. They’ve created a corporate culture where people feel empowered to pursue their passions. We look forward to helping CES grow their social impact program along with their business.”

With Benevity, employees will be able to go online, give time to causes they are passionate about and help CES provide a positive impact on their local communities and to other communities around the world. The program will be available to all CES employees starting Tuesday, Dec. 3, on Giving Tuesday.

“Benevity has allowed us to create a CES Cares website,” CES Cares Social Impact Manager, Karen Gray said. “You log in using your employee account, have featured content available to you and can search by cause or area for engagement or giving opportunities. It also allows employees to track volunteer hours for our Dollars for Doers program.”

Dollars for Doers is the CES Cares program that rewards volunteers for their time. For every ten hours of volunteer time, CES will award the employee $100 to donate to the charity of their choice.

CES Cares is the social impact program of City Electric Supply, created to serve as the arm for all the philanthropic, charitable and volunteer efforts in which CES employees participate. Since it started in 2016, CES Cares has made over $10 Million in charitable donations. It is partnered with UNICEF, American Red Cross (@RedCrossNTX) and Carry the Load. The program is also dedicated to giving back to the North Texas community – where CES is headquartered. It has donated more than 5,000 backpacks to the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center for the back-to-school program and has partnered with Children’s Medical Center, DCAC, and the Bridge Homeless Shelter.
