CES Cares: A Brighter Future Scholarship
Want to pursue a career in the electrical industry or know someone who does?
Change a life with the Brighter Future Scholarship.
City Electric Supply is offering a $5,000 scholarship to five students pursuing an education in the electrical industry at a trade/vocational school or certification program. We’ve also partnered with Milwaukee Tool to ensure each recipient receives a starter kit of hand tools necessary to their job.
The CES Brighter Future Scholarship is an extension of the CES Cares program. It is our way of giving back to deserving students in our communities and investing in the next generation of CES customers to pursue a career in the electrical field.

As Baby Boomers Retire, More Blue-Collar Jobs Need Filling
Since Baby Boomers are retiring by the millions, there is an even a greater demand for plumbers and electricians to step into their shoes. The Department of Labor states there is a shortage of skilled and semi-skilled workers nationwide.
Many millennials are choosing to forego college and getting tech and vocational school training, attending construction trade schools as well as apprenticeship programs.
Since many homes and businesses require more wiring, electricians are needed to install the necessary components.
Trained Electricians are in High Demand
