5 CES Branch Anniversaries, 125 Years of Fantastic Service
City Electric Supply (CES) recently celebrated five branches across the Carolinas and Georgia that reached 25 years in business! Read on to learn more about each exciting anniversary event and their combined 125 years of unbeatable service!
CES Statesville – North Carolina
“I am very honored to be part of this 25th celebration for CES Statesville,” said District Manager Terry Henderson. “This location is where my career started in the electrical industry in 1997, exactly 25 years ago! This event holds a special place in my heart, and I’m excited to share it with our customers and community in Statesville.”
Eight manufacturers, including Klein Tools and Milwaukee, were on-site to discuss their newest products and exclusive deals and answer any questions from attendees.
The Statesville branch raffled off great prizes, adding to the fun. Lucky customers walked away with CES tools, merchandise, and a Blackstone Adventure Ready Outdoor Griddle. Plus, one grand prize winner took home a Pit Boss Pro 850 Pellet Grill.
“It has been nothing but a blessing to work with this company and see how we have really grown over the past few years,” said Branch Manager Brian Stewart. “I’m privileged to work with great people. I hope this celebration shows our customers just how much they are appreciated by CES as we continue to grow strong bonds with each of them.”
CES Monroe – North Carolina
“Being a part of this celebration feels great! I started my journey at City Electric Supply in 1997, just one year after the branch opened,” said Branch Manager Jamie Long. “Being a part of the branch’s growth and accomplishments throughout the years is a huge highlight of my career. I’m excited to share that with everyone.”
Manufacturers demonstrated new products and offered exclusive deals to the Monroe branch’s customers.
Attendees also won great raffle prizes, such as a jobsite speaker and CES tools. The lucky grand prize winner walked away with a Yeti Tundra 35 Hard Cooler.
“I hope our customers left feeling that they’re part of the CES family,” said Long. “Without them, none of this would be possible.”
CES Rock Hill – South Carolina
“I have had the opportunity to meet and work with some amazing colleagues, customers, and management along my journey with CES,” said Branch Manager Eric Morgan. “The highlight of my 18 years here at City Electric Supply is advancing from delivery driver to branch manager. To see CES Rock Hill reach 25 years of service is another incredible honor.”
Nine manufacturers, including Klein, Milwaukee, and TAMCO, supported the celebration. They offered on-site product demonstrations and exclusive deals to customers.
Attendees enjoyed lunch catered by the Dixie Pig and exclusive CES merchandise. They also won raffle prizes, including a Traeger Wood Pellet Grill.
“I hope our customers take away our true sense of gratitude from this event,” said Regional Manager R.T. Smith. “It’s hard to express how much we appreciate the support and trust they have given us to help our business grow over the last 25 years. It has been an honor to be a small part of it.”
CES Aiken – South Carolina
“I have been with the company for 15 years and had the pleasure of working with so many great people,” said Branch Manager Samantha Thomas. “This company took a chance on me when I was 20 years old, and now here I am as the branch manager. I’ve seen CES Aiken grow so much in my time, and I am honored to be part of such a milestone.”
Thirteen manufacturers, including Klein, were at the event to give product demonstrations, answer questions, and offer exclusive deals to customers.
The Pot Smoker BBQ catered the event to the delight of visitors, who won various prizes and tools too. The grand prize raffle winner received a Recteq Wood Pellet Grill.
“I’m glad our customers came and celebrated with us! Through this anniversary celebration, I hope they see how much they mean to us,” said Thomas. “We will always do everything in our power to supply them with the material they need.”
CES Augusta West – Georgia
“As one of the first people hired at this location, I am very thankful to be a part of this branch’s journey for the past 25 years,” said Branch Manager Brian Taylor. “As the first CES branch in the state, to see where we started to where we have grown today, it has been an amazing experience.”
Five manufacturers, including Milwaukee, offered product demonstrations and exclusive deals.
Customers also enjoyed lunch, catered by Powerhaus Bar-B-Que, and some received Bluetooth speakers and tools from the raffles. And the grand prize winner took home a Recteq Wood Pellet Grill.
“Our customers are the sole reason we are still here. I hope they walked away from the event knowing how much we appreciate their business and personal relationships,” said Taylor. “I hope they see that we care and will do whatever is necessary to get them the materials they need. And I hope to continue down the path of helping others and building many more relationships during the next 25 years!”
Making a Difference One Branch at a Time
In addition to rewarding the branches’ hard work, every celebration included a chance to donate to Make-A-Wish®. The recent partnership between CES and Make-A-Wish was made possible through the company’s social impact program, CES Cares. CES is a proud national partner of Make-A-Wish and supports its goal of granting life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.
“CES Cares helps employees give back to causes they care about in their communities,” said Social Impact Manager for CES Cares Karen Gray. “The funds raised for Make-A-Wish at each branch create incredible experiences for Wish Kids and their families.”
Congratulations again to all the branches, and thank you for giving back!
