Mackie Monday | Another Incredible Year

This Mackie Monday I want to take the opportunity to reflect on a truly exceptional year and most importantly give thanks to all of the people that have made this possible. This past weekend marked the end of our 2016/2017 trading year…and what a year it has been!

I have highlighted some of the incredible results from this year below:

• $1,021,000,000 in sales
• The US became our first market globally to surpass $1 billion in annual revenue
• Seventh straight year of double digit growth
• 12% sales increase
• More than $100 million in additional sales
• 155% sales increase since 2009/2010

Wow, what a year!!!!!

What makes me even more excited is that I truly believe we are significantly better placed today for growth than we were back in 2009/2010. As exciting as the numbers are, they are only ever a reflection of our people and it is the quality of our team that makes me confident our growth story is just beginning!

Over the past 12 months, we added 242 to the team and promoted 193 people to more senior roles within the organization as we continue to invest more than ever in training initiatives.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all of our team, our vendors/agents, and customers for making another record year possible and to assure you all we will continue to invest heavily in CES to ensure we continue to become a better employer, customer, and supplier with each year that passes.
